Mind’s Eye & Cat’s Paw

As I listen to a guided meditation by Belleruth Naparstek, I sink into my body and feel myself detach from this place. Her voice is deep and calm. It tells me to breathe as deeply as I’m comfortable, and I find that a bit tricky. Who knew breathing could be so painstaking when you are concentrating on it. I feel a bit of tension behind my right eye and I breathe. My neck feels crooked like a Blue Heron flying and I breathe. My calves feel stiff and hard and I breathe. I feel a muscular quiver in my foot. Oh geez, that’s not me that’s the cat! The cat yawns and stretches, pushing on my foot. I shake my head and laugh to myself.
Belleruth has a website http://belleruthnaparstek.com/ where you can find guided imagery CD’s, books and more.
