Hey! They worked!
We’ve been having troubles with my son’s mittens slipping off and his wrists getting all snowy. I double the mitts and get them tucked into his arm sleeves but still, I have to fix his mittens numerous times while outside playing. I’ve checked out the website for L-bows but the price is a bit too much and with shipping it’s just not worth it for me. I also heard a tip that stuck in my mind, which is, to use the leg section of old worn socks over top to prevent the snow from getting to the wrist. Good idea, but I could not find any old socks to cut up that seemed long enough and tight enough. But wait! I had made my daughter some baby legwarmers months ago, surely they would work and be long enough. Success! The little guy went out shoveling and Hubby didn’t have to fix mittens once!

So I say, if you’ve made baby leg warmers or bought Babylegs hold on to them for when your kiddos are old enough to play in the snow.
